We are looking for a dependable and experienced Industrial Blaster Painter Leading Hand to join our team in the Northland/Auckland region on a permanent basis.

The Role:

As an Industrial Blaster Painter Leading Hand, you’ll assist the site supervisor with daily operations at our Northland/Auckland site. You will also:

  • Supervise and support the team to meet client requirements
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control, ensuring daily reports are completed and work meets all specifications
  • Order materials and conduct receiving checks
  • Oversee the delivery of equipment and materials to site locations
  • Set up and manage blasting and painting worksites, ensuring proper preparation

Applicants should ideally have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the blasting/painting industry or a similar field
  • A NACE level 1 or NACE level 2 certification
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise a small team
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
