Experienced Shotfirer to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team. This is a long-term project for SRG Global having been the drilling and blasting contractor onsite since 2012.

The Role:

You will be responsible for safely designing, supervising and executing blasting activities on site. This role reports to the site supervisor but has some autonomy in relation to blasting activities.

This role would ideally suit someone who has a positive attitude towards safety, training & environment. Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.

Positions available:

• 8:6 & 2:2 Roster
• 12-hour days
• Full time position
• FIFO out of Perth
• Immediate Start

 Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and planning blasts.
• Handling explosives and ensuring safety.
• Cleaning and securing blast areas.
• Reporting incidents and completing documentation.
• Assisting with drilling as needed.

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience in a shotfirer role.
• Shotfirer License (WA)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (WA)
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
• A valid Drivers License (manual).

Desirables

• HR Class Drivers License.
