About the Role:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to be a part of a Water Security Project located in Nyngan, NSW (2 hours inland from Dubbo). This is an onsite role, offering direct hands-on experience to contribute to the success of the project.

Permanent role, FIFO or DIDO will be considered on a 10:4 roster (days) + project uplift. Suitable accommodation will be provided.

Relocation assistance can be provided for the right candidate.

Works will include:

Construction and upgrade of three major pump stations including new river intakes, balance tanks and mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers to ensure all targets across HSEC, Quality and Commercial are met.
  • Consult with Project Management roles on the creation of construction methodologies and implement through the supervision and coordination of crew and subcontractor labour.
  • Work with stakeholders to mobilise resources, plan and order required materials and plant to ensure maximum productivity, execution of project schedules and completion of work activities as per scope of work.
  • Ownership of productivity of crews and subcontractors to ensure project schedule and budget is met, identifying areas of concern to the Project Manager.
  • Completion of all daily documentation (site diary, checklists, inspections).
  • Ensure compliance with all project policies and procedures across crews and subcontractors.
  • Lead pre-start meetings with Site teams ensuring effective communication of daily site activity, project progress and recognition of crew members.
  • Prepare the 2-week project look ahead and set weekly program performance targets for crews and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor in the Construction Industry (Civil, Structural or Concrete background essential).
  • Experience leading teams and managing work programs to an agreed schedule.
  • Strong communication and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience.
  • Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical inclusive of a Drug & Alcohol Screen.
