The Role
Reporting to the Canning Vale Operations Manager, your role as a AICIP / API Inspector is part of our inspection team – a team that is experiencing rapid growth. This role is key to the ongoing asset integrity inspection services provided to one of our key clients, Murrin Murrin. This role will be based from our Canning Vale office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing in-service inspection of pressure equipment including pressure vessels, storage tanks and associated equipment as per the applicable code and client requirements.
- Preparing inspection work scopes including any non-destructive testing (NDT) technician required, review the equipment history and review all findings.
- Preparing reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable code and client requirements.
- Maintaining an up to date database and working with the client on all statutory requirements.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- AICIP (preferred) or API 510 and API 570 certification (minimum)
- API 653 (highly desirable)
- Oil & gas and/or refinery knowledge and experience (essential)
- NDT certification AINDT (desirable)
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment.
- Exposure to heavy industrial/process/mining plant
