SRG Global is seeking a capable Roller Technician Supervisor to lead a specialised team during a critical maintenance shutdown. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-standard delivery of roller and rotating equipment maintenance services. You’ll work closely with site personnel and clients, while driving continuous improvement, team performance, and operational excellence.

Shutdown Dates:

• Main shutdown – Commences on the 13^th October till 20^th October   

 Flexibility:

• Day Shift Flat Rate: $85.00 Night Shift Flat Rate: $90.00
• Casual Flat Rate.
• 12 Hour Days Night Shift/Day Shift.

Key Duties and Scope:

• Act as the liaison between SRG and the client, including attendance at daily meetings and provision of regular progress reports
• Interpret technical drawings and apply them to the practical repair and maintenance of rollers and rotating equipment
• Assist in estimating labour, materials, and time required for upcoming work
• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of roller technicians to deliver high-performance outcomes
• Ensure strict adherence to SRG’s safety systems and Learning Management System (LMS)
• Lead daily PSI and toolbox meetings
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, monitor equipment condition and performance
• Manage shift rosters, consumables, freight logistics, and accurate site documentatio
• Perform regular site inspections, risk assessments, and stocktakes related

What You Need:

• Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade Certificate (with experience in rollers and rotating equipment)
• Schedule 26 – Statutory Supervisor Training
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, with a strong focus on roller maintenance and mechanical systems
• Proven leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills in high-pressure environments
