SRG Global is seeking Mechanical Fitters for a 5-day local shutdown in Kwinana, with the opportunity for flexible involvement in multiple periodic shutdowns on the strip and peel between October and 2026. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched programs, as well as completing both preventative and corrective maintenance. This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment

Shutdown Dates:

• Main shutdown: Commences on the 10^th November till 14^th  November   
• Additional Shutdown in Kwinana:23rd November till 30^th November 

 Flexibility:

• Casual Flat Rate.
• 12 Hour Days Night Shift/Day Shift.

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter Role.
• Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining heavy plant and industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Experience in fitting, assembling, and aligning mechanical components
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Basic knowledge of lubricants and lubrication techniques

What You Need:

• Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade Certificate (with experience in rollers and rotating equipmen
• Trade Certificate – Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
• Pass a pre-employment medical.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
