The Role
We are seeking an Entry Level Payroll Officer to join our team at our Subiaco Head Office.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to launch their career in payroll, gain hands-on experience, feed their curiosity, and develop their skills in end-to-end payroll processing.
You will assist in performing payroll, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team with payroll-related tasks and queries. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a flexible and proactive work style, passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, and a keen interest in building a career in payroll.

Responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain accurate weekly payroll processes using PayGlobal (end-to-end payroll)
- Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes
- Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations
- Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Assist in managing and processing superannuation contributions
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth payroll process and operations
- Liaise with and support the HR, Finance, and Operations teams
- Work closely with our Payroll Supervisors and Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payroll

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and results oriented
- Good people skills – assertive and direct, while being a good listener
- Very comfortable with computers, technology, and systems
- Ability to follow directions, ask questions, and want to learn
- Be motivated and driven.
- Previous HR or finance experience (desirable)
