The Role:
Join our experienced team as an Industrial Fibreglass Technician for upcoming works across the Strip and Peel, Kwinana region. You will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of industrial fibreglass components, including tanks, ducting, pipe systems, and protective coatings for critical industrial infrastructure. This role will also involve working in confined spaces and supporting shutdown and maintenance activities as required.

Shutdown Dates:

• Main shutdown – Commences on the 10^th November till 14^th November   

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of fibreglass (FRP/GRP) components
• Surface preparation and lamination using various fibreglass techniques
• Working with resins, catalysts, and reinforcement materials
• Identifying damage or wear and recommending solutions
• Operating safely in confined spaces and at heights
• Performing other duties aligned with your skills and experience, with training provided where necessary

About You – Successful Applicants Will Have:

• Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Polymer Processing or Fabrication.
• Proven experience in industrial fiberglass work (FRP/GRP)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience in shutdown or heavy industrial environments
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport
• Valid Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets (within the last 2 years)
• Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
• Rigging qualification (advantageous)
