This role relies solely on the operation of an MPU safety and productively to deliver bulk explosives down the blasthole, management of the bulk explosives compound and the day-to-day operation of the MPU truck. This is a FIFO from Perth position, on an 8:6 Roster.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Safely operate MPU trucks to transport materials and equipment within designated areas of the mine site or industrial facility.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on MPU trucks to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials onto/from MPU trucks using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies while operating MPU trucks.
• Maintain accurate records of truck operations, including mileage, fuel usage, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
 
The successful applicant will have:
 
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
• Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Pumping emulsion/goldfield experience
• Experience in operating IEE Triple type MPUs
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
 
Desirables
• Telehandler operation experience
