The role:
As Sycle's operational capabilities continue to grow, we have created a fresh opportunity for an Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Avalon
Your impact:
Working with our wider Operations & Maintenance team, your presence will ensure our assets are maintained as per company standards.
Your every day:
- Ensuring best practice maintenance methodology is implemented and adhered to.
- Coordinating the preventative maintenance and repairs to the logistics fleet efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
- Overseeing expenditure on repairs and maintenance and manage in accordance with budget requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase safety, productivity and efficiency within the two business areas of Asset Reliability & Fleet Operations.
- Enforce and uphold absolute safety standards across the Fleet and Maintenance teams.
Who are you?
- Experience working with Prime Movers & other Heavy Rigid Trucks, and Earthmoving Equipment.
- Preferred experience working within a quarry setting / waste / general construction.
- Valid drivers license.
- Strong knowledge of COR, VIC road rules & Heavy Vehicle industry regulations.
- Ideally come from a mechanical / maintenance background, bonus points if you are a trade qualified mechanic.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environemnt.
