The role:
You’ll provide guidance on HR matters, support employee relations, and help deliver key initiatives. With Avalon as your main base, you’ll also work across multiple sites, engaging directly with our blue-collar workforce. We’re open to both full-time and part-time arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

Your every day:
• Development and delivery of project HR services that align with business needs
• Support the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with the company's retention and development plans
• Plan and lead key processes with the business that form part of the HR lifecycle such as employee onboarding and off boarding, remuneration and benefits reviews, performance management reviews, and talent management
• Provide high level advice, coaching and support on a broad range of complex ER/IR issues and practices, offering solutions in line with the business’s priorities and in accordance with relevant government policy, legislation and industrial award
• Act as a point of escalation and resolution for HR related queries, issues and requests from both internal and external stakeholders
Who are you?
• Relevant HR tertiary qualification or significant experience in a HR Advisory role
• Understanding of Australian legislative framework, NES, Modern Awards and EBAs
• Demonstrated success in delivering generalist HR support and advice at an intermediate level
• Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Experience working within the construction, manufacturing or resources industries would be highly regarded
