The role: 

As the regional expansion takes place, our newly established team are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the team based out in Brisbane, QLD.

We need a degree of flexibility to consider the right person for this role, as we build up our local workbook, we will need you to travel regionally and work away from home if need be.

As an established contractor taking on a new region, this opportunity will give you the stepping stones needed to forge a career and grow into a seasoned engineer / Project Manager.

Your impact: 

Your ongoing success with the team will ensure new projects are won at tender stage and projects are delivered on time, on budget and safely.

Your every day: 

  • Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
  • Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete.
  • Leading and supporting a strong safety culture.
  • Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
  • Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.

Who are you? 

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or project management.
  • A proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with a successful outcome regarding the above KRA’s.
  • Effective communication with clients, consultants management & on-site personnel.
  • Understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
  • Ability to travel regionally when needed.
  • Minimum of 7+ years experience.
