The role:

We are looking for a HSEQ Systems Coordinator to join our high-performing team working closely with Systems & Governance Manager to create improved and efficient processes and procedures to support the HSEQ team across the group.

Your every day:

  • Developing best practice HSEQ systems for operational teams to implement and ensuring that our teams are aligned in meeting key health, safety and environment requirements
  • Participate in investigations, reporting, injury management activities and responding to ad-hoc tasks as you maintain a focus on continuous improvement
  • Supporting our HSE Manager and broader team/s to provide specialist support and advice when required
  • Maintaining knowledge in relation to regulatory and company health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Acting as a role model in demonstrating full support of all health, safety, and environmental programs

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Work Health and Safety; Quality Health Safety and Environment or other related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups
  • Team player with an attention to detail and well-developed problem solving capabilities
  • Those with experience in a similar high-risk/complex environment will be viewed favorably (Defense, Mining, Manufacturing, Construction or similar)
