The role:
To work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure that the profit and loss and balance sheet being presented to the Board on a monthly basis, reflects a true and correct position of the asset and leasing classifications and treatment.
Your every day:
- Monthly review of Asset Clearing Account with plant department to ensure asset transactions are performed on time
- Manage capex requests across the business in line with Group procurement process
- Complete month end Lease Charges, from Plant & Assets to Trading units including the inter business charges to their Projects
- Lead projects designed to improve overall operations and engage with those around the business to complete and roll-out these projects associated to Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting
- Prepare necessary fixed asset registers across the Group (Accounting and Tax)
Who are you?
- Previous field experience in a similar role within the Construction industry
- Experience using Jobpac highly desirable but not essential
- Advanced MS Excel experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent
- CA/CPA qualified would be beneficial
