The role:
Working closely with the leadership team, this role will see you providing HR advice to line managers on a wide range of matters relating to legislation and policy, employee relations and the end-to-end employee life cycle.
Your impact:
You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience by supporting management in all things people related.
Your every day:
- Provide expert IR advice and conduct relevant research to understand changes to IR climate and impacts on the Wamarra business.
- Support the General Manager and relevant stakeholders with people processes such as remuneration review, goal setting, performance management and employee onboarding
- Coordinate social procurement reporting including data management, audit reviews and support for tenders and bids
- Maintain employee records and databases and complete administrative tasks associated with employee matters
- Facilitate and deliver HR projects and initiatives in coordination with the Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Organisation Development teams, in accordance with the overarching HR strategy.
Who are you?
You’ll come to us with:
- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator or Administrator role
- A keen interest in industrial relations and some exposure to working with enterprise agreements, award interpretation and unionised workforces
- The agility to move between tasks and projects of a strategic nature and administrative nature
- A passion for creating a great employee experience
Excellent stakeholder management and a demonstrated ability to build compelling professional relationships
