The role:
Working from the Spotswood Head Office— soon to be South Melbourne, our Credit Controller will deliver accurate and efficient debt management from invoicing to reconciliation. They’ll be a key support for project teams when processing claims and actively contribute to process improvements that enhance team efficiency.
Your every day:
- Receipting daily payments against outstanding invoices to clear the aged debt ledger
- Assist the Project Administrators to ensure that Claims are entered into Jobpac within the Project timeline and assist with any Payapps requests.
- Certify the Claims, process necessary adjustments, generate Invoices and send to the client ensuring accuracy using Right first-time approach.
- Ensure that regular Intercompany invoice reconciliation is conducted, and action is taken to clear items.
- Maintain accurate collection history, analysing payment trends to use in the Forecasting process to ensure on time payment
Who are you?
- 5+ years of Accounts Receivable, Debt collection experience within the construction industry with Jobpac knowledge.
- Proactive approach in communications with customers, developing relationships with them, together with internal stakeholders to facilitate cash collections
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to contribute to cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft and Excel
