WHY TEAM SIMONDS?

The Simonds story all started in 1949 with a passionate family man, Gary Simonds. He envisioned a builder that Australians could rely on to guide them through the process of crafting their perfect home. This vision remains at the heart of Simonds today with our commitment to making the Great Australian Dream a reality by placing home ownership within Australia’s reach.

Becoming part of Team Simonds means becoming part of the family. Our people are the heart of what we do. Our homes are built for the community, by the community, with a local network of employees, trades and suppliers all working towards this vision. It is this passion, dedication, and excellence that you will find on every Simonds job site, office, and display centre across the country. Today, we stand proudly as an ASX listed & leading national builder servicing customers across Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and New South Wales.

Simonds has helped shape Australia. Few can say that. Whether we’re looking back at the homes of yesteryear, what we’re building now, or everything that’s still to come. We’ve not only shaped what Australia looks like, but more importantly, how Australia homes.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a full-time Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance services to Simonds Homes customers in the Adelaide region. The Maintenance Manager will lead a focused team, with one van driver reporting directly to them, and will be supported by a Maintenance Administrator.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for managing a dedicated team, coordinating trades and service vans, and ensuring all maintenance work is delivered to a high standard. You’ll also work closely with the Building Manager to proactively address recurring issues, reduce costs, and improve long-term outcomes for both our customers and the business.

This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role where you’ll make a tangible impact on the post-construction experience.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re an experienced construction or maintenance professional with a background in residential building and a natural ability to lead and develop teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring structure and accountability to your team, and are always looking for ways to improve systems and outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • A trade background or Certificate IV in Building & Construction
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing people, performance, and outcomes
  • Solid knowledge of residential construction practices and maintenance standards
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and service delivery
  • A valid Driver’s License and White Card

You’re someone who leads by example, values safety and communication, and takes pride in delivering a professional and reliable customer experience.

WHY JOIN US?

Aside from a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's leading ASX listed residential builders, Simonds can offer you:

  • Great benefits across a wide range of products and services including a generous discount on our award-winning homes as well as all the great things that go in them.
