A bit about the role

This is your opportunity to be the face of Bunjil place events, supervising the Function and Event team to deliver events in a range of settings to the highest possible standard.

What you’ll deliver

• Supervise the team with a hands-on approach to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of retail bars, functions and events.
• Engage with clients and customers, providing a positive end to end experience
• Ensure operational requirements are met in a welcoming, professional and cost-effective manner.
• Formulate good working relationships and communicate effectively with clients, contractors and onsite departments to ensure the smooth delivery of events. 
• Oversee event operations including catering riders, customer service, bar operations and profitability, stock control as required, equipment management, and daily reporting

What you’ll bring

• Experience leading the delivery of high-quality functions and events
• Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail
• Empowering, collaborative and clear leadership style
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History, Working with Children, Eligibility to Work, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
• A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
