A bit about the role
This role assesses the detailed design plans for streetscapes and reserves within our Council.
What you’ll deliver
- Evaluate and approve subdivision landscape plans for conformity with Council policies and standards.
- Collaborate with developers, landscape architects, and other stakeholders on landscape plan submissions.
- Ensure landscape plans meet quality design outcomes, construction standards, and plant species suitability.
- Provide clear reports on review outcomes and issues to relevant parties.
- Contribute to the review and development of internal landscaping policies.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant landscape qualification or related field and extensive experience in the landscape or horticultural field.
- Experience with reading and interpreting landscape architectural plans.
- Experience or qualifications in landscape architecture or landscape design
- High level of horticultural knowledge
- Experience and knowledge of all aspects of landscape construction
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check,
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
