Myuna Farm is preserving the agricultural history of Casey while focusing on current environment sustainability issues. As a public community farm, it is managed by City of Casey and is a place where adults and children can experience hands on contact with farm animals and native wildlife.

A bit about the role
The Visitor Services Attendant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Myuna Farm, delivering exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and assisting in animal care.
This casual position, primarily focused on weekend shifts, offers the opportunity to engage with visitors, sharing valuable insights on sustainable farming practices and supporting the farm’s mission of promoting environmental stewardship and responsible agriculture.
What you’ll deliver
- Provide a high level of customer service and participate in staff meetings and staff training sessions.
- Assist with Myuna Farm general office operations regarding group bookings, telephone enquiries, point of sale service.
- Ensure when delivering point of sale service, conducting train / pony rides and supervising animal interactions they are performed in a professional and friendly manner.
- Support in preparation, setup and pack up of the venue for group excursions, programs and/or functions.
- Perform feeding of farm animals and general farming maintenance and cleaning duties.
What you’ll bring
- Experience working in a customer services role in a dynamic and complex work environment.
- Enthusiasm for customer service with a people person mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and active listening.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers.
- Experience working with young children and families is valued
- Qualification or experience in teaching and working with children is valued.
- Qualification in animal care or handling or experience working with animals is valued.
- Computer skills including MS Office suite
- Present confidently to a wide variety of audiences (public speaking).
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
