About the Role
Deliver friendly, efficient café service while preparing quality food and beverages and maintaining a welcoming, clean environment.
What You’ll deliver
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service, ensuring a welcoming café experience for all patrons
- Prepare and serve high-quality food and beverages in line with safety and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of café areas, equipment, and food preparation spaces
- Accurately process transactions and handle cash using point-of-sale systems
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet service goals and maintain smooth daily operations
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience working in a café, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environment and or qualifications
- Food Safety Handler Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Advanced First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude to support day-to-day café operations
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
