About the Role
This role is critical in supporting the Waste Management team through high-quality administrative services, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement.
You will coordinate a high volume of requests, manage data and reporting, support projects, and contribute to organisational transformation initiatives, including the OneCouncil program.
What You’ll deliver
- High-level administrative support, including managing requests, processing invoices and preparing reports.
- Exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including residents and contractors.
- Accurate data management and system administration using TechnologyOne/OneCouncil and Microsoft tools.
- Support for Waste Management projects and broader organisational transformation initiatives.
- Coordination of training and induction for new staff in systems and processes
- Continuous improvement of business processes to enhance service efficiency
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in waste management or a similar operational/sustainability-focused environment
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of enquiries while delivering excellent customer service
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and system implementations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems (e.g. TechnologyOne desirable
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check
