About the Role

 

Are you passionate about turning data into insight and manual processes into intelligent automation? As the Reporting and Automation Lead within the OneCouncil ERP Transformation Program, you'll lead the delivery of enterprise reporting, workflow automation and document management solutions that transform the way Council operates. Working with a diverse range of business and technical stakeholders, you'll help build a more connected, efficient and data-driven organisation while contributing to better outcomes for our community.

 

 

What You’ll deliver

 

  • Lead the reporting strategy, design and delivery of reporting solutions that provide accurate, standardised and business-aligned insights to support operational, financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the optimisation and automation of end-to-end business processes using TechnologyOne BPA and App Builder, improving efficiency and supporting OneCouncil transformation outcomes.
  • Oversee the delivery of DocOne templates, correspondence and document outputs, transitioning legacy solutions to modern, data-driven document management capabilities.
  • Provide leadership and coordination across stakeholders, technical specialists and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of integrated reporting, automation and document solutions.
  • Apply independent judgement to prioritise initiatives, manage risks, uphold governance standards and provide specialist advice that supports sustainable business and technology outcomes.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience across TechnologyOne platforms, with strong functional and technical capability in DocOne, Business Process Automation (BPA), and Reporting within an enterprise ERP environment.
  • Proven ability to operate across both hands-on configuration/development and business analysis, including process mapping, requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience designing and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions, ensuring alignment between business requirements, system capability, and architectural standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate delivery across multiple technical streams, balancing competing priorities while maintaining alignment to program outcomes.
  • Strong project and program delivery capability, including planning, prioritisation, dependency management, and critical path oversight, with a proactive approach to identifying and escalating risks, issues, and interdependencies to the Program Office.
  • Experience working with and guiding technical teams, SMEs, and delivery partners, ensuring quality outputs and adherence to timelines and standards.
  • Ability to identify delivery risks early, assess impacts, and clearly articulate mitigation
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
