About the Role

 

At the City of Casey, we're transforming how we deliver services to one of Australia's fastest growing and most diverse communities. We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Test and Automation Analyst to join the OneCouncil OEM team, supporting the rollout and continuous improvement of the TechnologyOne CiA platform. This role demands strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with automation expertise being critical to success.

You’ll be involved in testing efforts across key modules including Finance, Assets, and Supply Chain Management, ensuring quality through system, integration, and user acceptance testing. A core part of your role will be to design, build, and maintain automated regression test suites, with proficiency in UI Path being highly desirable.

Experience with TechnologyOne and familiarity with tools like X-Ray for test management will be an advantage. If you're a detail-oriented tester with proven automation capabilities and thrive in agile delivery environments, we want to hear from you.

 

What you'll be doing

 

As the Lead Test Analyst, you'll be the subject matter expert for testing across the OneCouncil platform, working closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders and technology specialists to ensure high-quality outcomes are delivered every release.

You'll:

  • Lead testing across TechnologyOne CiA modules, including Finance, Assets and Supply Chain.
  • Develop test strategies, plans and quality assurance activities.
  • Review user stories and requirements to identify testing needs and risks.
  • Coordinate System, Integration and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Manage defects, reporting and resolution activities.
  • Contribute testing estimates and support Agile planning and refinement.
  • Create and maintain test cases and test evidence in XRAY.
  • Design, develop and maintain automated regression test suites.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Execute regression testing for releases and platform enhancements.
  • Partner with business and delivery teams to strengthen testing practices and maximise test asset reuse.

 

What you bring

 

We're looking for a highly capable testing professional who combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Technology One CiA experience is highly desirable
  • Solid experience with test management tools such as XRAY, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM Quality centre.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or a related business field.
  • Certification in Testing (ISTQB or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience hands-on scripting in Test Automation tools similar to Tosca, UI Path, Selenium, Karate, Gatling, Jmeter etc. UI Path highly desirable.
  • Experience in API testing with Postman, SoapUI or similar tools
  • Demonstrated experience as a Lead Test Analyst
  • Extensive experience in software testing covering all test types and levels of test.
  • Extensive experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, BDL
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Psychometric Testing.
