Salary range $130,8780 – $151,717 plus super

About You:

Your current knowledge of and experience within the Australian energy industry is vital to your success in this role. Your experience will also include:

• Strong influencing and advocacy skills
• Experience in policy development and analysis
• Sound track record in various forms of communication and engagement
• Proactive leadership skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate across business teams and with external stakeholders
• Experience in a similar role focussed on the national electricity market
• Quantitative analysis and modelling skills desirable but not essential

About the role:

Be a part of planning for the future of Hydro Tasmania and help to shape our strategy to embed our Purpose and Vision. As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will navigate the complexities of the current energy transformation in Australia to shape and advance Hydro Tasmania’s business strategy. As part of the strategy team, this role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and implement policy strategies aligned with Hydro Tasmania’s Purpose, Vision and Strategy.
