Salary range $113,448 – $131,517 plus super

Who are you? 

Your interpersonal and relationship-building skills will be crucial for your success in this role.  Your experience also includes:

  • Curious mindset and enthusiasm to jump straight in!
  • Strong interpersonal skills with abilities to engage and influence a range of stakeholders
  • Willing, able and happy to travel to remote and beautiful sites in Tasmania
  • Strong electrical background or high voltage experience strong desirable but not essential

About the role: 

To put it simply, based in the Southern region of Tasmania, you will be responsible for conducting site-based inspections, audits and incident investigations with a strong focus on capital and operational programs of work in our Assets and Infrastructure business unit as well as across the business. Additionally, advocating our WHS management system, contributing to evolving our safety culture within the organisation while working collaboratively with both internal and external relevant stakeholders are key aspects of this role with the chance to make this role your own.

As a WHS Partner at Hydro Tasmania, you will be… 

✓ Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure WHS corrective and preventative actions are fit for purpose    

✓ Proactively support site leadership with effective and efficient implementation of WHS improvement initiatives  

✓ Contribute to development of WHS objectives targets and measures to facilitate managerial decision making   

✓ Take responsibility for own work priorities to ensure accuracy, quality value and timeliness of work undertaken

✓ Provide feedback to the WHS Operations & Capability Team of the status of WHS Management systems and processes to help make improvements
