Base salary from $149,686 per annum incl. Super

About you:
You have a relevant qualification or experience including experience with solar and/or distributed energy products as well as in commodities trading and/or risk management. Your experience will also include:
- A passion for bringing products/experiences to life
- Excellent communication skills with abilities in communicating to technical and non-technical staff at all levels
- Ability to strategically analyse and enhance processes wherever possible
- Prior experience of developing and deploying machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
- Experience with data visualisation tools(Power BI) and data warehouse platforms(Snowflake)
- Strong background in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch), R and/or other relevant programming languages

About the role:
As a Senior Trading AI Specialist, you will be fundamental in facilitating high quality AI, analytical and software development processes to enhance development of the integrated portfolio position. This role will work cross functionally with the contract trading, portfolio optimisation, spot trading and commercial risk teams and includes providing timely and strategic inputs into wholesale trading plan and strategy setting within internal risk measures to maximise revenue.
This role is preferably based in Hobart, Tas.

✓ Work closely with other parts of the business to ensure suitable technology solutions and practices
✓ Identify new areas, opportunities and works with internal and external stakeholders
✓ Deliver and maintain insightful analytics pieces, reports and dashboards
✓ Design suitable solutions to realise savings and capture market opportunities
