About the role:
To put it simply… as a Risk Analyst, you will leverage your expertise to contribute to managing risks and building resilience within the Hydro Group. You will work with key stakeholders to ensure risk management aligns with strategic objectives, while also contributing to business continuity and the overall success of the organisation.
You’ll play a key role in supporting Hydro’s risk and resilience efforts, helping to prepare for unexpected events.
As a Risk Analyst, you will be…
✓ Identifying and assessing operational and strategic risks across the Hydro Group.
✓ Facilitating risk assessment workshops and maintaining accurate risk registers.
✓ Providing expert advice and analysis to enhance risk management practices.
✓ Supporting business continuity efforts and ensuring alignment with ISO 31000 standards.
✓ Assisting in the management of Hydro Group's Operational and Strategic risks.
✓ Presenting data and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Who are you?
You’ll bring 2–5 years of experience in a risk-related role, with a focus on operational or strategic risk assessment, compliance, emergency management, and business continuity.
You’ll have a solid grasp of risk management and business continuity principles and be comfortable with frameworks like ISO 31000 and compliance standards.
You’re a strong problem solver, able to think critically and come up with practical solutions. Your communication skills will help you explain complex information clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable presenting and facilitating discussions with different groups, ensuring that key messages are delivered effectively. You’ll enjoy working with teams across the business and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
