Deliver major refurbishment projects that directly shape the future of Hydro Tasmania’s critical generation infrastructure.
Oversee scoping, design, contracts and close out while managing budgets, risks and key stakeholders.
Develop compelling business cases and ensure delivery against asset, cost and schedule objectives.
Guide teams and contractors to integrate upgraded hydro assets that sustain long term system performance.
Currently have one permanent full time and one 12 months max term position available.
Salary range $140,887– $163,308 plus super

• Drive project delivery to meet scope, cost, schedule and technical targets
• Prepare and present high quality business cases and commercial analysis
• Lead contract development, negotiate terms, and manage execution and administration
• Apply best practice risk, asset and quality processes across every project stage
• Build strong relationships with councils, regulators and community stakeholders
• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Ideally Mechanical) as well as Project Management.
• Lead full project lifecycle in complex environments.
• Managed contracts, budgets and commercial decisions.
• Experience with MS Project and core project management tools.
• Apply strong business acumen to technical projects.
• Can communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders and write concise reports.
