About the role
This role is about keeping Hydro Tasmania running – securely, reliably and efficiently – every minute, of every day. As the IT Delivery Manager, you will lead Hydro Tasmania’s core IT infrastructure, networks and service desk functions. Your work will directly enable critical operational, corporate and commercial systems, supporting Australia’s transition to renewable energy without compromising availability or security.
Base Salary from $154,543 plus super

Key responsibilities
• Lead enterprise infrastructure, network, and service desk teams
• Deliver stable, secure and resilient IT services across corporate platforms
• Improve service delivery maturity, SLAs, KPIs and end-user experience
• Manage budgets, vendors and managed service partners with strong cost discipline
• Ensure compliance with cyber security standards and Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) obligations

Skills & experience
• You have extensive experience working across IT operational roles as well as strong experience within large and complex enterprises
• Abilities to combine strong technical depth with a customer focus and a strategic, forward-thinking mindset
• Excellent communication skills combined with being details-oriented and process driven
• You excel at supporting and nurturing your team’s growth, bringing a positive and proactive approach to your role
• Abilities to thrive in fast-paced settings, demonstrate quick thinking and contribute to a collaborative workplace culture
