About the role
Meeting regularly with government and stakeholders to maintain a strong relationship with our organisation and to ensure a mutually beneficial flow of relevant information on key issues. To do this, you will work across all facets of Hydro Tasmania, including Entura and Momentum Energy. You’ll be highly visible across senior leaders of our organisation, enabling them to achieve business outcomes through your trusted advice.
Salary range $145,808 – $169,024 plus super

Key responsibilities
- Undertake stakeholder relations activities, particularly with Government, to achieve and support the Corporation’s strategic direction and goals
- Build and maintain trusted networks across stakeholders, primarily across Government.
- Influence outcomes on key strategic issues through developed stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Provide high quality written and verbal advice and outputs on tight timelines.
- Identify new areas and opportunities while working with internal and external stakeholders to translate this into delivered value.

Skills & experience
• Abilities to effortlessly create and sustain strong professional relationships with a variety of people
• Meticulous attention to detail, specifically with fact-checking and providing corporate communication
• Experience with Government and energy industry highly desirable
• Proactive approach to workload to achieve short turnaround times
