About the role
In this exciting opportunity, you’ll have the chance to showcase your exceptional customer service skills with internal and external customers as guided by the Payroll Lead and team. You’ll work towards completing a certificate in Business Administration, funded by Hydro Tasmania, while actioning and learning about a range of administrative Payroll services as well as supporting other team members as required.
This opportunity is a 2-year fixed-term contract.
Base salary from $52,245 plus super

Key responsibilities
• Support the wider business with Payroll responsibilities
• Provide fundamental records and data management services related to the Payroll function
• Ensure quality and compliance of all information documentation
• Develop Payroll skills, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services within the Payroll team

Skills & experience
• You’re an eager learner, ready to start your career in Payroll and take on new challenges
• You have a positive attitude coupled with exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed correctly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy, particularly experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
