POSITIONS VACANT

A permanent full time position (working 76 hours per fortnight) commencing 11 August 2025 (start date negotiable).

This position supports the financial service requirements for the school. It involves working with a school support team together with the staff in the Catholic Education Office.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Demonstrated experience working with an enterprise accounting package.
• Demonstrated experience in setting budgets and monitoring against targets.
• Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.
• A professional approach to working in a team.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to engage with parents, staff and students.
• Proficiency in MS office and Google suite of applications.
• Ability to work under limited direction.
• Ability to complete adhoc duties as directed.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

• Experience in collection processes.
• Familiarity with Tech One and Compass systems.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum five years’ experience in an accounting environment.
• Certificate IV in Business/Finance or relevant discipline.
• Certificate II in Office Procedures or related study.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
