A permanent full time position commencing 29 January 2025.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of committed professionals in particular the College’s KLA Coordinators and play a strategic role as a core member of the College’s Leadership Team.
The role of Executive leader exists to support the Principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students and assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:
- A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- A commitment to academic excellence and a sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy including the nature of assessment and differentiated learning.
- The demonstrated ability to build a positive learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data.
- The demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and work collaboratively with staff.
- The ability to lead learning and foster innovation and creativity in a collaborative environment.
- A working knowledge and understanding of all Stages of Learning (4-6).
- A comprehensive understanding of NESA requirements and a proven ability to implement effective teaching programs.
- Held the position of KLA Coordinator for a minimum of 3 years.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Appropriate qualifications and experience to teach all stages (4-6) to HSC level.
- Level C Accreditation aligned in accordance with ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
