This position provides administrative support to the CLEM Service Area, primarily based at the Marian Centre, Wollongong.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position provides administrative support to the CLEM Service Area, primarily based at the Marian Centre, Wollongong. The Administrative Officer will be accountable for the following:
- Providing administrative support for the planning, implementation, and facilitation of CLEM projects, events, and strategic priorities.
- Administering CLEM financial transactions, including the processing of credit card expenditure, purchase orders, invoice payments, and petty cash, in accordance with diocesan procedures and using platforms such as TechOne and ProMaster.
- Assisting with the preparation, reconciliation, and monitoring of the annual CLEM budget to support effective financial management.
- Assisting with the management and maintenance of the CLEM calendar, including the coordination of travel, conference attendance, and related bookings.
- Working collaboratively with the Executive Assistant (EA) to coordinate, oversee, and submit the weekly CLEM contribution to the Gateway newsletters.
- Supporting the maintenance and accuracy of CLEM’s interface and content on the CEO public website and Gateway platform.
- Coordinating regular internal rosters, including CEO staff prayer, Gateway Spiritual Reflections, and staff leave schedules, to ensure effective communication and participation.
- Maintaining efficient internal filing systems that support accessibility, organisation, and compliance with record management standards.

- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to design and implement effective administrative processes and solutions.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
- Background in an education or school setting
- Experience with Technology One (accounting package).
- Knowledge of electronic filing systems and records management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 3 years experience within an office environment.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
