THE OPPORTUNITY
The Executive Director of Schools invites applicants from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full time position of Hospitality and Event Coordinator, Emmaus Centre.
Reporting to the Operations and Administrative Services Manager, Emmaus Centre, Campbelltown this position exists to support the day to day duties of providing administrative, hospitality and event services to staff, students and visitors of the Emmaus Centre, Campbelltown.
YOUR IMPACT
As the face of the front counter, you will be responsible for:
- Manage all front of office enquiries to the Emmaus Centre including deliveries and visitors
- Coordinate incoming event enquiries from the Event Coordination Form, liaising with Service Area administrators and facilitators
- Organise hospitality and catering requests with preferred suppliers and following guidelines on CEDoW Stewardship of Funds
- Maintain the Emmaus Centre Bookings Resource Calendar for all room bookings and parking
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact during events to troubleshoot any issues that arise,ensuring a seamless experience for guests and presenters
- Raise purchase requisitions in TechnologyOne and goods receipt
- Monitor student centre bookings and provide administrative assistance to students studying at Emmaus Centre
- Provide administrative support to the Operations and Administrative Services Manager, Emmaus Centre
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office environment
- Minimum Cert IV in business administration, hospitality or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Platform
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric focus
- Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines with attention to detail
- Effective organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to show initiative, be proactive and self-motivated
- Willingness to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the business in which the organisation operates
