Monash's Engineering Department has an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and skilled profession to join our team as Team Leader Development Engineering.

About the Position

Reporting to the Coordinator Development Engineering this position is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the development engineering team to ensure high quality and timely outcomes relating to customer service delivery requirements and the achievement of department / divisional objectives. 

Skills and Experience

  • Applicants will have a degree in Civil Engineering, extensive Local Government experience, and outstanding leadership qualities. 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and evidence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • A proactive and results driven approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements with a focus on enhancing customer service and service delivery capabilities

Requirements

  • The position holder is required to be a registered Civil Engineer under the Professional Engineers Registration 2019
  • Satisfactory National Police Check; and
  • Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
