Join our enthusiastic Resource Recovery team as a Multi Unit Dwelling Engagement Officer for a six-week period, starting on 16  June 2025.

  • Support the Senior Waste Officer in reviewing Waste Management Plans and providing feedback to applicants via the planning.
  • Assisting in transitioning properties from council collections to private services.
  • Assisting managers and managing agents to achieve best practice waste management for properties with shared bins.
The officer shares best practice tools, resources and plans with multi-unit representatives to improve the waste
sorting and diversion at sites, and to empower residents to champion resource recovery and circular economy
practices.
 
The officer will use data and improved record keeping, site inspections and relationships to empower residents
and their agents to implement and maintain better separation of glass and food waste at their building.
 
Skills required:
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage time, set priorities and plan and organise work.
  • Achieve objectives in the most efficient way possible within resources and timelines.
  • Experience in MS Office products including Word, Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook.
  • Highly developed level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing time, setting priorities, developing project schedules, achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
