Senior Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our IT Shared Services team and be accountable for the design, development and support of applications using various technologies across the organisation.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Applications Development Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

The Senior Developer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, secured and reusable software solutions. The Senior Developer should ensure solutions adhere to defined governance and best practices and develop and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead and drive the end-to-end solution delivery cycle, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency through agile methodologies
  • Lead the design and development of applications, including troubleshooting and resolving critical issues
  • Deliver high-quality and maintainable code, adhering to best practices, governance and coding standards
  • Develop and deliver functionalities based on business requirements, ensuring quality by maintaining unit and integration tests
  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Analyse and recommend enhancements to existing applications, aligning with evolving business and technical needs
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of development processes and methodologies by keeping up with the new developments in technology and industry trends

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will possess:

  • 5+ years’ experience in software design and development 
  • Development experience in SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Prem
  • Experience developing and supporting applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model Driven applications), Power Automate and Power Pages
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Programming experience with C#
  • Experience with front end scripting (JQuery, Javascript, Vue.js etc.)
  • Development experience in Azure SQL, SQL Server
  • Experience using Nintex forms and workflows
  • Experience with Power BI (Desirable)
  • Experience with Git (Desirable)
  • Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience with Azure (e.g.: APIM, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus etc.) (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of Node.js (Desirable)
  • Experience with Sitecore development (Desirable)
