Holy Family Primary School, Emerton is seeking a permanent full-time Diversity and Wellbeing Coordinator to commence Term 3, 2025. This has a 2-point coordinator attached to the role.

Role specifics:
Full-time permanent opportunity from Term 3, 2025
Working closely with the senior leadership team, teaching staff and school counsellors to assist all of our students to achieve success
About the opportunity:
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our dynamic teaching team, maintaining a clear and shared focus on enhancing the learning experiences of all students. This individual will work alongside classroom teachers, support staff, and leadership members to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive. This role is crucial for building teacher capacity, promoting inclusive practices, and supporting the individual needs of students, particularly in English and Mathematics.
Promote meaningful and age-appropriate learning for all students
Work closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement strategies and adjustments for students, and support the creation and moderation of Personalised Plans (PPs)
Collaborate with the school counsellor, external agencies, families, and carers to support student wellbeing and engagement.
Co-design and implement school-based behaviour support plans for Tier 2 students and risk management plans for Tier 3 students plans for Tier 2 students and risk management behaviour plans for Tier 3 students.
Assist and co-teach with classroom teachers in planning and delivering programs that embed a diversity and inclusion perspective.
Assist teachers in identifying and prioritising learning goals for vulnerable and at-risk students.
Model inclusive teaching practices in order to build the capacity of classroom teachers
Work within the classroom environments to enhance student participation, engagement, and academic achievement.
