As a Science teacher at St John XXIII, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of our students. We value creativity, flexibility, and the integration of modern technology to engage students and inspire them on their faith journey.
This is a temporary full-time position commencing Term 4 2025 and concluding October 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging Science lessons that support students' intellectual, social, and developmental growth.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment with effective behaviour management strategies.
Use student assessment data to identify barriers to learning and drive academic improvement.
Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the broader school community to support social and intellectual growth.
Contribute to a faith-based environment that promotes transformational education.

Qualifications:
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).
Eligible according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
Experience in supporting diverse learning needs is an advantage
