We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to take on a temporary part-time Diversity Teacher role (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays) until July 2025. Collaborate with our team to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences that cater to the unique needs of our K-6 students. Key Responsibilities:
Structure learning experiences to meet the unique needs of diverse learners.
Create and maintain safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environments.
Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers and implement targeted support.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement inclusive programs.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress and needs.
What You Will Bring:
Understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for primary years learners, particularly in inclusive education.
Knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas.
Experience in supporting diverse learning needs and implementing differentiated strategies.
Ability to make content meaningful to students at different levels.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
Valid Working with Children Check.
The Organisation
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD'S Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
