What You Will Be Doing:
As a Junior Planner you will continue to develop the business' strategies, provide accurate, timely business analysis and strong support to our teams.
- Provide accurate, timely business strategy and analysis to the buying teams to maximise sales, margin and optimise inventory, ultimately to improve GMROI.
- Assist with management of entire product lifecycle, advising the buying teams on effective logistics and allocation methods.
- Assist with forecasting & managing core programs based on sales trends
- Plan & implement new store builds and review overall store grading plans.
- Inventory cover and stock turn management to achieve agreed business targets.
- Assist with providing analysis and reporting to influence decisions and overall business performance.
- Work collaboratively with Merchandise teams to ensure best buying outcomes.
About You:
- You must have at least 2 years’ experience within the retail space
- Extensive analytical and reporting experience
- Excellent knowledge of retail operations, large store formats / category killers and hard goods format
- Strong ability to interpret data and results & forecasting experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Steer and monitor planning and inventory activities to achieve financial measures.
- Positive attitude and new ideas
