About you:
This is an ideal position for a natural leader with exceptional customer service, sales and organisational skills. In addition to these qualities, you will also possess the following:
- Big box leadership leading teams of 20+
- Experience in managing within a retail or hospitality environment
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Strong visual merchandising standards and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and influencing sales skills
- Proven ability in mentoring and coaching abilities
- Computer literacy
- Be First Aid Qualified, or be willing to be trained at the businesses expense
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Running day to day operations of store
- Ensuring the achievement of sales, wages and shrinkage budgets
- Get involved in the store stocktake process
- Provide timely guidance and feedback to train and develop the team
- Our customers’ perspective drives all management decisions and store activities
- Foster a collaborative, fun and results driven team environment
- Team development plans to foster succession planning
- Liaise with relevant Support Office departments to take commercial control of your business
- Recruit and Talent pipeline team members as required
