Spotlight Group is seeking a driven Junior Planner to join our growing team.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Junior Planner in our biggest Department you will be responsible for a substantial portfolio including both core and fashion ranges.  You will work closely with the Senior Planner, Buyer and Business Manager to develop and execute short- and long-term strategy as well as providing accurate, timely analysis, insight, decision making and support.

 

  • Working collaboratively, maximise sales, maximise margin and manage your stock, using your commercial acumen to deliver insight and critical decision making every day
  • Working with your Demand Planner and Supply Planner, forecast Sales and Order requirements for all core programs
  • Own all aspects of the Store Replenishment process for your ranges
  • Assist with providing analysis and reporting to influence decisions and overall business performance
  • Present results and ideas at Trade Meetings, Post Season / Strategy meetings and ad hoc meetings as needed
  • Ensure Inventory Health is monitored, managed and maintained within expectations
  • Manage the product lifecycle from launch through to clearance

 

 

About You:

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience within a retail head office / support group
  • Solid analytical and reporting experience
  • Proved decision making ability to drive results
  • A demonstrated ability to interpret data and results
  • Experience planning Sales and Stock
  • Able to manage all aspects of the Replenishment process
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Positive attitude and willing to share or embrace new ideas
  • Clear ambition to pursue an ongoing career path in Merchandise Planning
