Are you a highly organised professional with a passion for process and a keen eye for detail? We’re on the lookout for a Food Procurement Manager to support the smooth running of our national food procurement operations at Australian Venue Co.

This role is critical to maintaining accuracy across our systems, supporting supplier relationships, and driving operational efficiency — all while offering a clear pathway for growth within our procurement team.

As the Food Procurement Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our workflows, supplier data, and documentation are accurate and up to date. You’ll support project timelines, coordinate internal communications, and serve as a vital link between our procurement team, venue operators, and suppliers.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in procurement, with exposure to high-impact projects, supplier engagement, and long-term progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement project timelines and track progress using tools like Monday.com.
  • Coordinate chef tastings and product evaluations with tight scheduling requirements.
  • Support day-to-day supplier onboarding, communication, and compliance tracking (e.g. HACCP, insurance, licences).
  • Maintain accurate product and supplier information in our ordering platform (AVC Live).
  • Operate our internal help desk, providing support to venue teams on procurement-related queries.
  • Assist in procurement set-up for venue acquisitions and divestments.
  • Track supplier rebates, assist with invoicing, and follow up on payments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in procurement coordination, administration, or supplier support.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Monday.com) and ordering systems (e.g. AVC Live) is highly regarded.
  • Understanding of food safety compliance (e.g. HACCP) is a bonus.
  • A strong interest in growing your career in procurement and supply chain operations.

Why Join AVC?

  • Work alongside a team of experienced food procurement professionals.
  • Gain exposure to strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier performance analysis.
  • Opportunity to lead procurement projects and contribute to process improvements.
  • Develop career pathways into Procurement Coordinator, Analyst, or Category Management roles.
  • Be part of a fast-paced, supportive, and growing hospitality business.

If you're ready to take the next step in your procurement career, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help shape the future of food supply at AVC.
