As we gear up for a busy summer and festive season, The Brighton Metro Hotel is growing its team and on the lookout for an Assistant Venue Manager to join us.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, working side by side with the Venue Manager to keep our iconic venue running at its best. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Essential requirements:

  • 2+ years in an Assistant Venue Manager role
  • Strong experience working in a gaming venue 
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Write and control an effective roster
  • Ability to stocktake and investigate the stock loss
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team
  • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
  • RP Badges required for the role
