Are you ready to lead one of Melbourne’s premier venues? We’re looking for a Venue Manager who thinks outside the box, embraces creativity, and is ready to steer the operations of one of Richmond’s most loved destinations.

Fargo & Co., set within the reclaimed vaults of a historic 1907 state bank, is a sprawling two-story bar that does it all — from bottomless brunches and bagel towers to caviar bumps and late-night soirees.

As Venue Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind daily operations of this multifaceted venue. We’re seeking a dynamic leader with proven experience managing high-volume, entertainment-focused venues. Your responsibilities will span team leadership, financial performance, and building a workplace culture that is inclusive, innovative, and fun.

We are offering: 

  • Generous Salary Package $95,000 - $105,000 + Plus Super
  • KPI Bonus $44,000

Essential requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of Venue Management experience in an Entertainment lead, high-volume F&B venue 
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems
  • P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials 
  • Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Write and control an effective roster
  • Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team
  • Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area
