About the Role
Provide hands-on technical expertise and support and action a wide range of icare business stakeholders (People, Finance, Information Technology) in relation to both SAP S/4 HANA 2021, Payroll (ECP), and other SAP Cloud products including SAP BTP services.
Essential to have ability to work closely with business and system users to ensure that icare’s technology follows leading industry practice for a solution that must remain legally and technically compliant.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a SAP BASIS Systems Administrator you will:
• Collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders, monitor current claims team performance and ensure that quality assurance and complaint / review processes are effectively managed
• Provide leadership and support for escalated matters and provide advice and guidance to all team leaders on claims insurance matters and provider performance.
• Provide BASIS and technical support for icare’s SAP landscape and all interfaces ensuring that matters are promptly addressed.
• Good exposure on latest SAP Cloud products such as BTP, Cloud identity Services, Work zone, Task Centre, Analytics cloud, Cloud Connector, etc.
• Monitor icare SAP landscape daily identifying and remediating issues as required. This should include SAP health checks of systems and integrations
• Design and implement a change and release management process ensuring that this is fully documented and signed off and that there are controls in place to govern the movement of transport requests.
• Design and implement an SAP security architecture for icare ensuring that segregation of duties is effectively implemented, users have appropriate access given the roles that they perform, that they are not given access to critical profiles and that there are duplicate roles and/or duplicate functions within roles.
• Working experience on SAP maintenance lifecycle, understanding of SAP/Non-SAP interfaces, upstream and downstream systems impact.
• Work with the SAP HEC team to perform all infrastructure related activities including system copies as required. Capture the steps required to do these including post copy health checks.
• Provide technical advice and support to icare finance projects that are in play including proposed solution landscape and environment changes and outages.
• Where required, liaise with SAP vendor teams to address icare SAP landscape issues. Update tickets promptly and monitor progress to ensure that requests are resolved within SLA timeframes.
• Respond to questions and information requests from internal and external auditors in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for effective technical knowledge transfer from Project team during Project Go-Live handover.
• Respond to questions and information requests from internal and external auditors in a timely fashion.
• Strong knowledge on ITIL best practices including ServiceNow change management and Jira agile methodologies
• Excellent understanding of industry standard landscape management practices
• Consider the implications of issues and provide well considered options to internal stakeholders
• Make judgements and decisions in respect to SAP system landscape to ensure the delivery of agreed outcomes for the business.
Skills & Experience
• At least 10 years of strong SAP BASIS experience with good exposure on latest SAP Cloud products including SAP BTP services
• A minimum of 2 full cycle SAP Implementations
• Comprehensive understanding SAP support functions including ITIL practices
• Comfortable to cover both hands on and strategic facets of the technical function
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline without compromising quality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
