About the Role
The Instructional Designer within the Enterprise Learning team consults across icare to understand capability needs and skill gaps and develop solutions – curating, designing, developing, enhancing delivering and evaluating learning across digital formats to support future-fit capability at icare.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as an Instructional Designer you will:
Work with stakeholders in the needs assessment and design, development, review and approval of learning deliverables, ensuring accuracy and an approach that balances the learner’s experience and need to grasp concepts and apply learning, with value-driven outcomes for icare
Work closely with stakeholders to turn regulatory requirements and business knowledge into meaningful, crisp, clear, scenario-driven practical learning content that facilitates risk-management
Maintain and update learning content in our LMS, collaborating with internal teams and SMEs to ensure content accuracy and alignment
Gather feedback and data to iterate and improve learning experiences and outcomes
Leverage and optimise tools and processes in support of governance including learning metrics reporting, assignment profiles, and management of learning through the LMS and Success Factors
Skills & Experience
Diploma of training, design and development or equivalent experience
Cert IV Training and Assessment
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
Experience in designing, developing and delivering e-learning (Articulate Storyline and Rise 360)
Highly developed instructional design skills combined with an eye for detail and an understanding of adult learning principles
Strong written communication and content development skills
A proactive mindset and genuine passion for helping others learn and grow
Familiarity with human-centred design, adult learning theory, or behavioural insights
Knowledge of frameworks and practice in the areas of talent, culture, career development and leadership development will be highly regarded
